EMSA Newsletter…August 2022!!

Dear Members,

As the 2022 Outdoor Season is wrapping up we would love to thank all the Players, Team officials, Parents and spectators for an amazing 2022 Outdoor Season! Thankfully we were able to run the full season (despite the weather not always co-operating).

With registration for the 2022/2023 Indoor Season right around the corner, we would like to bring to your attention that the registration number of the 2022 Outdoor Season did improve in comparison to the previous “Covid” Seasons, this growth was due to approximately 31% of female participation.
For this upcoming 2022/2023 Indoor Season we would love to see an increase in player’s registration to encourage our children to play the game of soccer as in the past before covid.

2022 OUTDOOR PROVINCIALS CHAMPIONSHIPS

We had great representation at the Tier 4 Provincials. Congratulations to all of our T4 EMSA teams that participated and medalled, job well done!!
Good luck to all our Tiers 1, 2 and 3 teams that have their Provincials coming up in the next few weeks!! We know that you will make us proud!

EMSA TOURNAMENTS

-EMSA FUTSAL TOURNAMENT
We are excited to announce that EMSA Main will host a new Futsal tournament “YEG Futsal Cup”, before the 2022/2023 Indoor Seasons. It will take place on October 1st and 2nd 2022. All information and details will be posted on https://yegfutsalcup.regtour.site/

–EMSA COPA EDMONTON
This Pre Season Tournament is open to all teams from U5 to U19 teams Tier 1 to 7 and it will be boarded and boardless.

2022/2023 INDOOR SEASON

EMSA will have a new league format for this upcoming Indoor Season as below:

EMSA SOUTH
