Get ready for one of the largest indoor soccer tournaments in western Canada, taking place over Christmas break!
The 2021 Polar Cup will be on December 27, 28, and 29. Registration is now open! This tournament is open for all age groups from U9 to U19, tier 1 to 7 (boys and girls) and all PDP Teams 2006 & 2007 (BOYS and GIRLS). Find more information at www.polarcup.ca!

Big shout out to our good friend Lindsay Kitson! She recently signed a professional contract in the Campeonato Nacional Feminino with Portugal’s Clube de Albergaria and we couldn’t be prouder. ⭐️⚽️🇵🇹

You may recognize this newly professional goalie when she’s on the field, she’s not only a local Edmontonian, but she also used to coach with EMSA!

A wonderful and warm weekend lies ahead, so grab a ball and get outside to enjoy some of the sunshine with family and friends!

It’s a busy time of year with the school year st

It’s a busy time of year with the school year starting and sports getting underway! ⚽️📚

If you’re always on the go with little time between practices, here are some great healthy snacks to keep athletes nourished and energized before exercising after a long day:

🍎 Fruit (apples, bananas, grapes, melon)
🥪 Peanut butter and honey sandwiches (healthy fat and protein, along with fiber from whole grain bread)
🥜 Homemade Trail Mix (nuts are a great source of protein)
🥥 Coconut water (hydrating, easily digested and a great source of potassium)
🥨 Pretzels (high in carbohydrates that keep you fueled, and a source of sodium which keeps you from cramping)

These are just a few easy and quick ideas to consider next time you’re in a pinch! ⚽️⏰
