EMSA North Adaptive Soccer Program

EMSA North proudly offers an Adaptive Soccer Program designed to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for children and youth aged 6 to 15 with diverse abilities.

The program is tailored specifically for participants who are neurodiverse or have physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges, providing a space where they can enjoy the game of soccer while building physical literacy, confidence, and social connections.

Sessions are thoughtfully structured to support all abilities, with modifications in space, tasks, equipment, and groupings to ensure accessibility. Players are grouped by skill level rather than age, and no prior soccer experience is needed. Training covers technical, physical, and social development, with activities like open games, warm-ups, team-building exercises, and individual skill-building.

The program’s inclusive design ensures each participant can grow, thrive, and have fun in a safe, supportive setting.”
