EMSA Referee Course Information for Outdoor Season

-A/R ASSISTANT REFEREE LINESMAN COURSE
This course provides children with the needed instruction to assistant referee a game. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive Jersey, Shorts, and flag. This is a 4 hour course (two hours class time and two hours field time) that deals with the rules and regulations of the game. (Must be 11 years of age or older to register) please ensure that the participants brings gym cloths and appropriate indoor footwear as there is indoor field portion with this course.
Upon completion of the Linesman/AR course, each participant will be required to complete an online test to be marked by the instructor. This test can be accessed here: Linesman/AR Course Test
Participants will be required to attend a mandatory test review session – your instructor will have further information on this for you.
-A/R ASSISTANT REFEREE REFRESHER COURSE
This is a refresher course for anyone who has taken the Assistant Referee course in the last two years. Will be 2 hours in class.
– ASA REFEREE COURSES *ENTRY LEVEL & MINI*
We are also hosting ASA Certified Courses (MINI, ENTRY LEVEL) which can be found at https://albertasoccer.com/referee/courses/ . To register for these courses you need to create an account on E2E Ref Centre, a website where you can find all the ASA Courses in Alberta.
All courses usually run in APRIL, in preparation for the Outdoor season, The registration for all courses will be online.
