EMSA Referee Courses Information for Indoor Season

EMSA MINI CONVERSION COURSE

The EMSA Mini Referee Conversion course is designed for referees who wish to be involved in officiating** the mini games in the EMSA programs during the indoor season, but have not previously done so, this means that the participants must be registered Mini Referee’s with ASA prior this season. This course takes place in classroom for 3 hours and in field for 1 hour. Your registration will be confirmed via email by instructor.

**Must be able to officiate on Saturdays.

Note: This course is subject to approval. There are prerequisites required.

 

-EMSA MINI REFRESHER

The EMSA Mini Referee Refresher Course is designed for referees who officiated in the EMSA program during the indoor season last year, this means that the participants must be registered Mini Referee’s with ASA and EMSA Mini Refresher prior this season. This course is in class for 1.5 hours. The EMSA’s instructor will send an online exam by e-mail which is requested before taking the course. Your registration will be confirmed via email by instructor.

– ASA REFEREE COUSES  *CONVERSION & REFRESHER*

We are also hosting ASA Certified Courses  (CONVERSION and REFRESHER) which can be found at https://albertasoccer.com/referee/courses/  . To register for these courses you need to create an account on E2E Ref Centre, a website where you can find all the ASA Courses in Alberta.

 

All courses usually run in September and October, in preparation for the Indoor season. The registration for all courses will be online.
