We are excited to announce that we are running programs in Edmonton this year and registration for our BMO Development Academies are now open! The Whitecaps FC Development Academy provides weekly training with Whitecaps FC coaches that is supplemental to club team training and commitments. Training sessions are conducted once per week and focus on developing individual technical habits and foundational tactical principles. The training methodology and tactical principles are based on the Whitecaps FC Game Model and the Whitecaps Way, a national curriculum for player development. Edmonton, AB – The Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA) are proud to announce a player development partnership through the 2025/2026 season with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
This partnership provides our local talent with a pathway for local players to professional soccer, scholarships, and Canadian national teams.
